Terms of Use

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

If you create an account or use the Service on behalf of a company, organization, builder, designer, trade contractor, homeowner, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that entity. The entity is responsible for all activity under its account, including activity by administrators, employees, contractors, trade partners, homeowners, guests, and other invited users.

The Service is designed for sharing files, photos, videos, tasks, project information, and related communications with trade partners, homeowners, builders, designers, and other construction project participants.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, disrupt, or impair our servers, networks, systems, or services.

You may not use the Service to upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, scrape data, reverse engineer platform functionality, or use the Service in a manner that exceeds normal and reasonable construction project usage.

corabuild.ai may offer free and paid subscription plans. Plan features, usage limits, storage limits, AI usage, user seats, project limits, and availability may vary by plan.

The free plan is currently offered as a "1 Project Free" account. The 1 Project Free account allows eligible users to use the Service for one active project and one admin user, subject to the limits and restrictions described in these Terms and any limits displayed within the platform.

A Free plan project may not be used to manage multiple unrelated construction projects, jobsites, customers, properties, or scopes of work for the purpose of avoiding project limits. corabuild.ai reserves the right to determine whether usage exceeds the intended scope of a Free plan project and may require the user to delete content, purchase an additional project, upgrade to a paid plan, or otherwise bring the account into compliance.

Users may not create or use multiple Free plan accounts, aliases, organizations, email addresses, phone numbers, or other methods to avoid plan limits, storage limits, AI usage limits, project limits, user limits, payment obligations, or other restrictions. corabuild.ai may suspend, merge, restrict, delete, or require upgrade of accounts that appear to be used to circumvent Free plan limitations.

Free plan users may add a new project by deleting their existing project or by purchasing an additional project. Additional projects on the Free plan are currently available for $79 per project. Each purchased project is valid for the duration of that project and is non-transferable.

For purposes of these Terms, the "duration of a project" means the period during which the project remains active in the platform, as determined by project activity, account status, administrative designation, or other reasonable indicators determined by corabuild.ai. corabuild.ai may require a purchased project to be designated as closed, inactive, archived, or completed if there has been no meaningful project activity for an extended period or if the project is being used to avoid plan limits.

Additional project purchases on the Free plan are non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be exchanged for account credit, applied to another project, or carried forward to a different account unless expressly approved by corabuild.ai in writing.

Free plan users may add additional team members for $10 per month per user. Additional user fees are billed monthly and continue until the additional user is removed, the account is upgraded, the account is canceled, or the add-on is otherwise discontinued. Removing an additional user may stop future billing for that user but does not automatically entitle the account holder to a refund or prorated credit for the current billing period unless required by law or expressly stated by corabuild.ai.

Free plan users may upgrade to a paid plan at any time. Paid plans may include expanded access, including additional users, additional projects, increased storage, expanded AI usage, or other features available under the then-current paid plan selected by the user.

The 1 Project Free account includes the following monthly AI usage limits unless otherwise stated by corabuild.ai:

• AI Document Splits: 6 per month
• Manual Document Splitting: Unlimited
• AI Document Change Notes: 15 per month
• Speccy AI Chatbot Inquiries: 200 per month

Free plan storage is limited to 5GB.

Paid plans may include different storage limits, feature access, project limits, administrative seats, AI usage limits, or other usage allowances.

corabuild.ai reserves the right to modify, reduce, expand, suspend, or discontinue any plan, including the 1 Project Free plan, at any time. This includes the right to modify free plan eligibility, storage limits, project limits, user limits, AI usage limits, feature access, add-on pricing, additional project pricing, additional user pricing, or other restrictions.

corabuild.ai also reserves the right to modify AI usage limits on both free and paid plans at any time, including but not limited to AI document splitting, AI-generated change notes, chatbot inquiries, or any future AI-powered features.

Usage limits may reset monthly, may vary by plan, and may be enforced automatically by the platform. Unused AI usage does not roll over unless expressly stated in writing by corabuild.ai.

corabuild.ai reserves the right to monitor account activity, usage patterns, storage consumption, project activity, AI usage, system performance, and other platform interactions to operate the Service, prevent abuse, enforce plan limits, improve the platform, maintain security, and protect other users.

This monitoring may include automated or manual review of account-level activity, usage volumes, upload behavior, AI feature usage, login activity, and project-level activity. We do not claim ownership of your content, but we may process, store, scan, or review content as necessary to provide the Service, enforce these Terms, investigate abuse, comply with legal obligations, or protect the platform.

Storage allocation may vary based on your subscription tier and is subject to change in accordance with these Terms.

Paid plans currently include 500GB of file storage unless otherwise stated in your plan, order form, or account settings.

Free plan storage is limited to 5GB.

You are responsible for managing your storage usage within your plan limits. If you exceed your storage limit, corabuild.ai may restrict uploads, require you to delete files, require you to upgrade, or take other reasonable action to bring your account into compliance.

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service. However, you grant corabuild.ai a limited license to store, host, process, reproduce, display, transmit, and otherwise use your content as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, support, and improve our services.

You are solely responsible for your content and must ensure that it does not violate any laws, regulations, contracts, confidentiality obligations, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, or third-party rights.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, creates legal risk, threatens platform security, or is otherwise prohibited.

You are responsible for maintaining independent backups of your content. corabuild.ai is not intended to be your sole backup or archival system.

Users are responsible for downloading or exporting any content they wish to retain before canceling, deleting, downgrading, or allowing an account to become inactive. corabuild.ai may provide export tools or support at its discretion but is not required to provide custom data exports, data recovery, or archival services unless expressly agreed in writing.

For free accounts, corabuild.ai may delete account data, project data, uploaded files, photos, videos, documents, tasks, messages, AI-generated content, and other user content after more than 6 months of inactivity.

Inactivity may be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, account login activity, project activity, file uploads, file views, administrative activity, or other meaningful use of the platform.

corabuild.ai is not responsible for loss of data resulting from inactivity on a free account. Users are responsible for maintaining independent backups of any content they wish to preserve.

corabuild.ai may, but is not required to, provide notice before deleting inactive free account data.

Users where applicable, may set site-level passcodes for additional security.

You are responsible for managing these passcodes, controlling access to your job sites, and ensuring that only authorized users receive access to project information.

corabuild.ai is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from shared, weak, compromised, or improperly managed passcodes.

Account administrators are responsible for inviting, managing, permissioning, and removing users, guests, trade partners, homeowners, and other participants from their projects.

corabuild.ai is not responsible for access granted by an account administrator or for content viewed, downloaded, shared, copied, misused, or disclosed by users who were invited to or given access to a project.

Account administrators are responsible for ensuring that users and participants have appropriate access to project information and for removing access when it is no longer appropriate.

corabuild.ai is a subscription-based service for paid plans. Payment is due at the beginning of each billing cycle.

By subscribing to a paid plan, purchasing an add-on, purchasing an additional project, adding an additional user, or otherwise selecting a paid feature, you authorize corabuild.ai or its payment processor to charge your payment method for all applicable subscription fees, add-on fees, taxes, and other charges associated with your selected plan or purchase.

We reserve the right to change our pricing, plan structure, features, usage limits, or billing terms with notice to existing subscribers where required.

Failure to pay may result in suspension, downgrade, loss of access, or termination of your account.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your administrator account settings or by contacting corabuild.ai support via chat, or email.

Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not automatically refund charges already paid. Your subscription will remain active through the end of the then-current billing period unless otherwise stated.

Monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable once charged, except where required by law or expressly approved by corabuild.ai in writing.

Annual subscription fees are generally non-refundable once charged, except where required by law or expressly approved by corabuild.ai in writing. If an annual subscription is canceled before the end of the annual term, the account will generally remain active through the end of the paid annual billing period unless otherwise stated or expressly approved by corabuild.ai in writing.

Add-on purchases, additional project purchases, additional user fees, custom services, implementation fees, enterprise services, and other one-time fees are non-refundable unless required by law or expressly approved by corabuild.ai in writing.

Cancellation of a paid plan may result in downgrade, loss of paid features, restricted access, or application of free plan limits after the paid billing period ends if your account remains active under a free plan.

corabuild.ai offers optional SMS text message alerts to notify users of jobsite updates relevant to their trade or project participation.

• Consent: By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive automated text messages from corabuild.ai. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
• Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on project activity.
• Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.
• Opt-Out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe.
• Help: Contact us at support@corabuild.ai.
• Supported Carriers: Major US carriers are supported. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Privacy: Your mobile number will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

Notifications, alerts, SMS messages, emails, push notifications, and other communications are provided as a convenience and may be delayed, blocked, filtered, undelivered, or unavailable.

Users are responsible for checking the platform directly for current project information and may not rely solely on notifications or alerts.

corabuild.ai is not responsible for damages, delays, missed communications, construction impacts, or other losses resulting from delayed, blocked, filtered, undelivered, or unavailable notifications or communications.

For paid accounts, we retain your data for up to 6 months after account cancellation unless otherwise required by law, stated in your subscription terms, or agreed in writing. You may reactivate your account within this period to regain access to your data.

For free accounts, data may be deleted after more than 6 months of inactivity as described in Section 7.

After the applicable retention period, corabuild.ai may permanently delete your account data and user content. Deleted data may not be recoverable.

You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time. Changes may take effect immediately or at the next billing cycle, depending on the nature of the change and how the platform processes the update.

corabuild.ai reserves the right to modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any features, functionality, AI tools, usage limits, storage limits, free plans, paid plans, subscription tiers, pricing structures, or services at any time, with or without notice.

This includes the right to add new features or services, remove existing features, change pricing structures, discontinue subscription tiers, discontinue the 1 Project Free plan, or change the availability of AI-powered features.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that may significantly affect your use of the Service. Your continued use of the platform after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with any changes, you may cancel your subscription as described in Section 11.

Standard subscription fees and available add-on fees are disclosed in your selected subscription plan, account settings, checkout page, order form, or other purchase flow.

Additional fees may apply for upgraded plans, additional projects, additional users, expanded storage, increased AI usage, premium features, custom services, implementation support, enterprise arrangements, or other add-ons if selected or agreed to by you.

For Free plan users, additional projects and additional users may be purchased at the then-current rates displayed by corabuild.ai. Additional project purchases are valid only for the duration of the applicable project and are non-transferable unless expressly approved by corabuild.ai in writing.

The Service, including all software, technology, design, workflows, functionality, interfaces, branding, logos, text, graphics, features, and related intellectual property, is owned by corabuild.ai or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service without our written permission.

You may not access or use the Service, directly or indirectly, on behalf of a competitor or for competitive analysis, product development, benchmarking, feature comparison, copying workflows, training a competing system, or evaluating the platform for the purpose of developing, improving, marketing, or supporting a competing product or service. This restriction applies whether access is obtained through your own account, a customer account, a contractor, consultant, employee, agent, trade partner, homeowner, or any other third party.

You may not access or use the Service for improper investigative, adversarial, competitive, or data-gathering purposes, including scraping, copying, benchmarking, reverse engineering, or creating accounts under false pretenses.

corabuild.ai may provide AI-powered features, including but not limited to document splitting, document change notes, chatbot inquiries, project assistance, content summaries, and other AI-generated outputs.

AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or require human review. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated information before relying on it for construction decisions, project management, contractual obligations, safety decisions, code compliance, payment decisions, or communications with third parties.

AI features are provided for convenience and assistance only. AI-generated output is not professional, legal, architectural, engineering, code-compliance, estimating, safety, or construction advice. Users are responsible for independently reviewing source documents, drawings, specifications, contracts, change orders, codes, site conditions, and other project information before making decisions or taking action.

corabuild.ai does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, suitability, or reliability of AI-generated output.

AI features are subject to usage limits, availability, technical limitations, and modification at any time. corabuild.ai reserves the right to adjust AI usage limits, restrict AI access, suspend AI features, or discontinue AI tools on any free or paid plan.

corabuild.ai may use third-party service providers to operate the Service, including hosting providers, cloud storage providers, payment processors, analytics providers, communications providers, SMS providers, AI service providers, and other technology vendors.

You authorize corabuild.ai to share, transmit, process, and store data with these providers as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service.

Use of third-party service providers may be subject to their own terms, policies, limitations, outages, or service interruptions. corabuild.ai is not responsible for third-party service failures, delays, outages, or limitations except to the extent required by law.

corabuild.ai may experience interruptions, delays, outages, maintenance periods, data sync issues, notification delays, or feature limitations.

We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance at any time.

We are not responsible for damages, delays, missed communications, construction impacts, or other losses resulting from temporary service interruption, delayed notifications, unavailable files, data sync issues, or platform downtime.

corabuild.ai provides the Service without warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding availability, accuracy, reliability, performance, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or uninterrupted access.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

corabuild.ai does not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or that any content, AI-generated output, file, message, task, notification, or project information will always be available, accurate, or preserved.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, corabuild.ai is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

This includes, but is not limited to, damages related to lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunities, construction delays, project errors, lost data, unauthorized access, reliance on AI-generated output, third-party service failures, notification delays, unavailable files, or disputes between users, builders, trades, homeowners, designers, or other project participants.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to corabuild.ai in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless corabuild.ai, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or your interactions with other users or project participants.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, downgrade, or terminate your account or access to the Service for violation of these Terms, non-payment, suspected abuse, security risk, unlawful activity, misuse of free plan limits, excessive usage, or for any other reason at our discretion.

We may also suspend or terminate access to protect the platform, other users, our business, legal compliance, or the integrity of our services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email, through the platform, by posting updated Terms, or by other reasonable means.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior on the platform. By submitting any content — including job requests, punch-list items, comments, photos, files, videos, documents, and messages — you agree not to post, upload, transmit, or share content that is:

• Unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or that infringes the rights of others;
• Harassing, threatening, hateful, or that promotes violence or discrimination;
• Obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit;
• Spam, malicious, deceptive, or misleading;
• Content that impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation;
• Content that contains malware, viruses, or harmful code;
• Content that violates confidentiality, privacy, intellectual property, or contractual obligations.

You also agree not to harass, abuse, threaten, stalk, intimidate, exploit, or harm other users.

Reporting and moderation. Any user can report objectionable content through the platform. We and the account administrator responsible for a jobsite may review reports and act on objectionable content and abusive users, including removing the content and blocking the responsible participant, within 24 hours of becoming aware of it where reasonably practicable.

Account administrators are responsible for moderating content and participants on their own jobsites.

Enforcement. We reserve the right to remove any content and to suspend, block, restrict, or permanently terminate the account or access of any user who violates this section, with or without notice. A participant who is blocked may not regain access by signing up again with the same phone number or email address.
